Sorsogon State College

The Sorsogon State College (SSC) is the former Sorsogon College of Arts and Trades (SCAT), one of the oldest trade schools in the Philippines. It was established as Sorsogon Trade school in 1907 before it was renamed Sorsogon College of Arts and Trades. After 86 years of existence, the school was converted into a state college by virtue of Republic Act No. 7666, which was approved in December 31, 1993 by President Fidel V.

The branches are:
  • Sorsogon State College-Sorsogon Campus

This is presently name for the main Campus in Sorsogon City. It offers morely in management and education (e.g BE Secondary Education, Elementary Education, major in English, Science and Technology etc. also the engineering course, food technology, etc....)

  • Sorsogon State College-Bulan Campus

This is presently name for the Sorsogon State College Campus in BulanCity. Sorsogon State College-Magallanes Campus

  • Sorsogon State College-Castilla Campus

The main campus is located at Magsaysay Street, Sorsogon City.
